3 DAY HOLIDAY CAMP FAQ'S

Can I enrol in Lemonade Kids 3 holiday program for individual days?
Our 3 day holiday camp program is a booking for all three days.
Our Strength From Within Holiday Workshop is our alternate 1 day well-being experience, which is held on various dates across the holidays.

Where is the holiday camp location?
Drop off and pick up will be from "Lillian's Place", Carina. The physical address will be sent via confirmation email on registration.
All children must be signed in and out by their parent or carer. The program will begin at 9am and finish at 3pm. Lemonade Kids offers 'before care' from 8am - 9am for $15 and 'after care' from 3pm - 5pm for $25 per family. All children must be collected no later than 5pm.

What does my child need to bring?
Please ensure you pack a bag with the following items for your child: yoga mat, hat, sunscreen, sports shoes, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a drink bottle. Children are also more than welcome to bring a soft toy or silent fidgets to help your child feel more comfortable - please note that fidgets will have restrictions during certain activities such as group discussions and team building exercises.

What if my child has a medical condition or needs to take medication during a program?
If your child has any medical conditions or requires any medication to be administered by a Lemonade Kids staff member, you must ensure an email is submitted to bec@lemoandekids.com.au before the workshop. We request that written instructions be provided to staff regarding how to administer the prescribed medication to your child in the likelihood of an incident occurring.

What is the ratio of children to instructors?
The program has an average ratio of 12 children per staff member. 

Are the staff qualified?
All Lemonade Kids staff hold a current first aid certificate and have a positive Working with Children Blue Card. Workshop instructors are qualified and trained to deliver the Standing Strong program. Staff may also hold varying qualifications including kids yoga teaching and Level 1 coaching.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your full registration of the 3 day holiday camp the below policy is in place.

  • If a participant needs to cancel all programs are non-refundable
  • A six month credit can be issued with written notification provided by parent/carer to bec@lemonadekids.com.au prior to the commencement date and start time of the program enrolled in to.

If Lemonade Kids has to cancel any programs a full refund or credit will be issued to participants.

What happens if my child misses a day?
Please contact Lemonade Kids on 0423697432 or email bec@lemonadekids.com.au to advise us that your child will not be not attending on a day in which they have enrolled.

If you miss a day of the program your fee is forfeited, unless a medical certificate can be provided and a credit can be issued for the pro rata amount of day/s missed.

What happens if my child is injured?
If your child is hurt during an activity, our first-aid qualified staff will assess the injuries and treat as required. In the event of a serious injury, an ambulance will be called. In all cases parents will be notified as soon as possible and an incident report will be completed.

What is your wet weather policy?
Lemonade Kids has an indoor facility with an outdoor uncover area so all holiday camps will continue to go ahead despite wet weather.

Can I stay and watch my children during their session?
Parents/carers are welcome to stay for the first 15 minutes of the day to ensure your child has settled in. Unless otherwise arranged with Lemonade Kids staff, we ask that all parents/carers depart and then return to pick up their child at the end of the day.

Does Lemonade Kids Kids have insurance?
All Lemonade Kids programs and activities are covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Are your participant numbers capped?
Our current cap for the 3 Day Holiday Camp is 25 kids.

Does Lemonade Kids cater for children with disabilities?
Where possible we welcome and support children with different abilities, however currently Lillian's Place does not have wheelchair bathroom access. If your child has a disability and you would like to discuss the program further please contact bec@lemonadekids.com.au to see how we can best support your child.
